A Message from Marvalette
I’m running for Congress because it’s getting harder and harder to find leaders who genuinely care about people—leaders who work every single day to make our lives better.

We need a break from the culture wars, chaos, and confusion – so we can focus on paying the rent or the mortgage, getting health insurance, and helping our kids get into college.

We need room to breathe – so we can take care of our families without constant pressure of worrying about crime or the next big storm.

We need leaders in Congress who will fight for good jobs, affordable childcare, healthy families, and safe streets – and against cuts to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, and services for our veterans. That’s what caring about people looks like. That’s what leadership looks like.

Congress may have lost its way, but I have not.

I’ve spent my life building stronger, sustainable, and resilient communities while leading change through community empowerment.

I grew up in the church and my faith teaches me to serve with conviction, never to give up, and always to be part of the solution. I’m running because we need to keep the faith – keep fighting the good fight for our families and our future.

We need leaders who will get in the trenches with us. I am that leader.

In the March 3 Democratic primary, I’d appreciate your vote. Thank you.
